• Style: A delicious fusion of serene hues and traditional features blended with a colourful more contemporary twist of characterful artwork and bespoke furniture, Honeystone Manor is simply stunning.
• Bedrooms: In the main house, choose from seven beautifully appointed bedrooms all with colourful views of the garden beyond. The first floor offers a gorgeous super king double, three further doubles as well as the four poster master bedroom. The second floor is great for a little more privacy and has a twin bedded room with a further 2 beds (ideal for children) with a final double bedroom. Nestled in the dining barn attic you will find a beautiful superking bedroom and lastly a lovely private double within the adjoining cottage. Please note: when the 'sleeps 10' option is applied, this will only include those bedrooms within the main house.
• Bathrooms: The super king room has lovely claw foot bath well placed to enjoy the garden views, one of the doubles has an ensuite bath and shower whilst the remaining first floor rooms share a shower and steam room and also family bathroom with bath. The master bedroom is ensuite with central marble bath. The second floor rooms share a spacious bathroom with bath and hand held shower. Both the dining barn and cottage have private bathrooms with bath and hand held shower.
• For relaxation: You cannot help but discover a secret spot in the garden for a summer read in a comfy chair, bliss. Enjoy a private massage (at additional cost and by prior arrangement ) overlooking the brimming garden or curl up with a favourite film by the warmth of a fire in the snug.
• For recreation: Lap the pool before breakfast, those avid tennis players amongst you can enjoy their own Wimbledon experience on the full sized tennis court or simply stroll the grounds and discover the beautiful church nestled quietly amidst the grounds
• Practicalities: Washing machine, dryer, drinks fridge, microwave, dishwasher, parking for up to 6 cars.

Outside

Honeystone Manor sits perfectly in six acres of wonderfully kept gardens. The beautiful warm honey colour Oxfordshire stone of the house is complimented with vibrant greens, lavenders and summer hues. A most recent and welcome discovery is the pretty Victorian water garden with its network of ponds and delicate streams, a lovely place to sit a while. From the stunning heated pool area, the grass football pitch to the full sized tennis court with court side seating, Honeystone Manor offers a real sense of space and tranquillity.

Safety Notice: Please do note that Honeystone Manor has an outdoor pool. Whilst the pool is set away from the house within the grounds and does have a gated entrance and safety cover, it is advised that children are supervised at all times.

Food and Wine

• DIY: Available on a self catered basis. The generous kitchen is a real hub to the house, plenty of space to cater for large groups allowing all to get stuck in with their house party duties! Extremely well equipped with ample pots and pans, there is an Aga and also 2 gas ovens for your use. Across the garden the additional barn has a perfect catering kitchen.
• In-house cuisine: Local talented chefs can be recommended to offer that little something extra be it a formal fine dinning occasion in the beautiful barn or an informal affair amidst the rustic al fresco dining area complete with chunky Hungarian glass bell jars perfect for a candle lit ambiance. The Kitchen table will seat 8 for casual breakfasts or morning coffees.
• Eating out: A mouthwatering choice of eateries include fine dining to the quintessentially English pub fare in the near by villages. The Bell at Charlbury is well worth a visit.
• The Wine: Local merchants are nearby to deliver your hand picked selection prior to your arrival.

• By Car: approx 1 hour 30 from London, just off the A40 between Oxford and Cheltenham
• By Train: Charlbury is nearest about 10-15 mins by car. Oxford is at least 40 mins to hour in the car, depending on traffic  
• By Air: The nearest airport is Birmingham, about an hour away. London Gatwick and Heathrow approx 2-2.5 hours
