Penkenna Beach Barn oozes with coastal influences from the flotsam found in the garden to the cabin style beds of the twin room. Open the windows to the salty air for a true appreciation of your coastal abode.
• Bedrooms: Three bedrooms all offering lovely sea views. On the lower level choose from a spacious twin with access to the grass lawn beyond and a double bedded room. On the second floor a lovely sunny super king double with far reaching views out to sea. Crisp white linens and squishy beds await after a day in the elements.
  
• Bathrooms: Both of the rooms on the lower level share a family  bathroom with bath, whilst the top floor bedroom has a private shower room and further toilet.
• For relaxation: Relax in the private grassy garden or sunny slate terrace to the sounds of the sea, throw open the sitting room doors to your unrivalled sunset vantage point. Cosy up in the winter months as the waves lap against your garden wall. 
• For recreation: Follow your nose through the garden gate and straight onto the beach, hit the waves and hunt the rock pools all before breakfast!

Outside

Characterful private courtyard brimming with Agapanthus and sea grass, beach salvaged buoys and driftwood finds. Spacious built-in slate seating area with chunky table, the prefect spot for a morning coffee or sunny breakfast. To the rear of Penkenna Beach Barn a welcome grass area awaits sloping gently from the sitting room doors to the stone wall at a lower level. Lead through the wooden side gate and you are quite literally on the beach (fully lifeguarded from early July to early September). Off road parking behind gated entrance for up to 3 cars.

Safety Notice One of the Unique aspects of Penkenna Beach Barn is, of course, its waterside location. The house itself is in an elevated position, which sits directly above the beach and care and supervision is advised at all times with young children within this area. Whilst access is restricted by a short wall, a signed safety disclaimer is required. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.

Food and Wine

• DIY: Available on a self catered basis. Open plan kitchen area with chunky butchers block and reclaimed Belfast sink. Superb gas cooker and under counter fridges. 
• In-house cuisine: Catering is available at an additional cost and is to be arranged direct with the caterers. We are able to provide you with contacts for recommended caterers on request.
• Eating out: A collection of fine eateries scatter the North Cornish coastline reaching down to the popular establishments of Rick Stein's and Jamie Olivers, from fine dining to fish and chips on the beach, Cornwall has it all.
