Inside
Tempting valley views stretch from the lawn of Trebiffin, relax in cosy barn chic!
- Style: Open plan barn style. Think high vaulted ceilings, fresh muted hues, stripped wood flooring and a more contemporary style combining with soft fabrics and comfortable living.
- Bedrooms: On the ground floor choose from two well appointed double bedrooms offering sumptuous linens, bespoke artwork and eclectic furniture including some from the owners personal antique collection. The first floor is enviably spacious complete with emperor sized double bed.
- Bathrooms: A contemporary style family bathroom can be found on the ground floor with large bath and separate rain shower, the first floor bedroom is en suite with shower, toilet and sink
- For relaxation: Pull up a deckchair in the garden with only the birds and the bees to disturb your peace! As evenings cool, retreat inside by the wood burner with a glass of wine and an old favourite movie.
- For recreation: Roll out the garden games on the lovely lawn, a truly lovely vantage point of the Cornish countryside
- Practicalities: separate utility room with washing machine and dryer. Dishwasher, underfloor heating downstairs, double insulation, off road parking for up to 4 cars
Outside
Spill from the kitchen onto the slate flagstone sun terrace with seating enough for up to six guests to sit and enjoy an evenings BBQ or sunny breakfast. Wild herbs and grasses creep around the house. The level lawn is idyllic for children to spread out and play whilst local ponies look on from the field next door.
Food and Wine
- DIY: Available on a self catered basis. A beautiful sunny kitchen with lovely garden views making the holiday chores just that little bit easier. Well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas hobs, electric oven and all the pots and pans you could need.
- In-house cuisine: Catering is available at an additional cost and is to be arranged direct with the caterers. We are able to provide you with contacts for recommended caterers on request.
- Eating out: The much acclaimed St Kew Inn approx 20 minutes away has now achieved its first Michelin star and is well worth a visit. Many tempting eateries can be found in Boscastle and Wadebridge, again not far from Trebiffin.
- Wine: Take a cycle ride along the River Camel to Camel Valley Vineyards and enjoy a glass of bubbles overlooking the vines. This renowned fizz comes up trumps time again, the perfect accompaniment to that Lobster!
