A recently converted 19th Century farm cottage offering complete isolation and luxury living for up to 8 guests.

• Bedrooms: Four lovely bedrooms. Sink under duck down duvets after a days explorations, choose from three doubles and one twin all offering tempting rural views.
  
• Bathrooms: Two luxury contemporary bathrooms on the first floor with a further shower room on the ground floor.
• For relaxation: Throw open the solid double glass doors to the elements, take in the fresh clean air of the Welsh hills and immerse yourself in tranquility. For the storm watchers amongst you then cosy up on the sofa with a good read or take advantage of the 50" Plasma and an old classic film. 
• For recreation: Where to start? beat the bounds from your front door, pull on your runners and head for the hills or simply dig out the playing cards for a battle of the wits.
• Practicalities: Utility room with large dryer and separate washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, parking for up to 6 cars.

Outside

The one mile private drive approach to The Sky Ranch offers a dramatic wilderness taste of what is to follow. Step from the front door to the 360 degree breathtaking views of characterful moorlands, lush green forest and undulating mountains in the distance. Winding streams cut dramatically through the moors and lead right past the house, traditional stone walls keep the grazing sheep at bay. The spacious garden offers ample space to relax and absorb the vista, the built in stone seating area and the outside dining table are perfect for an al fresco brunch or candle lit dinner. With over 16,000 acres to explore you will have your weekend well and truly mapped out.

• DIY: Available on a self catered basis. Enjoy the well equipped kitchen chock full of rustic character and state of the art appliances from the generous 6 gas hob burner and American style fridge freezer. Get creative in the hub of the house as your friends admire your culinary flair!
• In-house cuisine: Discover the freshest of Welsh ingredients.  
• Eating out: If you can bear to leave your rural hideaway then head to Llanidloes for a bite to eat. For a local pint The Red Lion in Trefeglwys (10 min drive) assures a warm welcome. For superb value then the Talkhouse in Pontdolgoch offers more classical cuisine and is only 5 miles from your homestay.
